We had lots of fun choosing dry wood to build a fire and living wood to make cooking tools.We whittled the ends of ‘green’ living sticks with a vegetable peeler so we could use them to put our food on.
We took it on turns to toast our bread.
We took it in turns to toast our marshmallows.
We had to watch carefully to make sure we didn’t burn our food!!
